  Well, I downloaded to app, registered my cc details, didn't need to create an account (good), plugged in, selected my charging point (1761), pressed start charging and.... nothing happened. Small wait icon, then back to ready to press the start charging button. Went through this cycle several times. I called the helpline and got a human after not-to-long a wait, but his suggestion was to register and then see if it could be fixed. But life is short and there were no guarantees this would work. So i walked. There's another set of chargers in the same car park which don't need an and did work. So, one star. This gadget a has just one job and it failed.

  Not working as “offline” presumably for taking payments. I am here with family on holiday, so phoned the helpline to be told, “someone should be able to come by the end of the month”. What a joke, surely should default to free charging. Paid £2.50 as in local council car park (opposite free Lidl car park with no charger unlike my local one) and had put £20 on the app to charge it, all wasted money and car still needs charging somewhere else. Epic fail.
